邀请报告人介绍:


Dr. Wojteck Pawlowski is the associate professor from Cornell University, his long-term interest is elucidating genetic mechanisms controlling chromosome interactions in meiosis. To achieve this goal, his lab pursues two major research themes: (i) understanding the patterns of distribution of meiotic recombination events along chromosomes as well as the factors that control these patterns and (ii) elucidating factors that affect chromosome dynamics during early prophase of meiosis, particularly rapid chromosome movements that lead to homologous chromosome pairing. His work has been published on Science, Trends in Cell Biology, Nature Communications, Methods in Molecular Biology, Trends in Genetics, PNAS, Plant Cell etc.





Dr. Danny Geelen is a plant scientist from Gent University who has a strong background on the study of cell division and male meiosis in plants. His team tries to identify the key genes involved in the control of male meiotic recombination and sister chromatids cohesion in Arabidopsis. His work has been published on top-ranking scientific journals, including Science, Nature Cell Biology, PNAS, Trends in Plant Science, PLoS Genetics, Plant Cell, Current Biology, New Phytologist, Molecular Plant, Plant Physiology, Plant Journal, Nature Communications, Gene & Development and eLife.





复旦大学王应祥研究员是国家杰出青年基金获得者,他长期从事减数分裂分子机制研究,取得的主要成果包括:1)揭示了4DNA复制因子在减数分裂重组中的功能,提出包括DNA后随链合成的重组模型;2)发现了一类减数分裂细胞特异的小RNA,揭示了重组依赖的小RNA与重组位置分布的关联性;3)阐明了减数分裂特异特异染色体浓缩进程的表观遗传调控机制。迄今在Annu. Rev. Plant Biol.PNASPlant Cell等杂志共发表SCI论文和综述38篇。





杨宁博士现为国家快三网站平台博士后,导师是严建兵教授。他的主要研究方向是玉米基因组学及遗传进化。目前以第一作者在Nature GeneticsNature CommunicationsPLoS Genetics等国际主流期刊发表SCI论文多篇。








罗成是华中农业大学生命科学科学技术学院硕士研究生,导师是严建兵教授。他主要从事单细胞全基因组测序技术在减数分裂上的应用,在单细胞水平解析了玉米减数分裂的雌雄差异。今年,这项工作他以第一作者发表在Nature Communications 杂志上。
